I've found Magnolia Street to be a pretty bike-friendly place to ride and it's a good connector - a good alternative to Church STreet. But this one section always has gravel and sand overflowing from a business parking lot. It makes the conditions for biking a LOT worse - and for no good reason, as far as I can tell. Does anyone know if there's a regulation against a business that doesn't maintain their lot like this? I'm not sure why they are allowed to have a gravel lot in downtown Spartanburg at all...Thursday, December 4, 2008
