It has been nice to see that some of the curbs on many intersections along Main St and Pine St have been redone and been made wheelchair accessible. We do a fair amount of walking and biking with our family in Converse Heights and beyond. The most difficult part of our trips from Converse Heights to the library or the rail trail is trying to cross Pine St at Kennedy St or Henry St. Neither of those two intersections have pedestrian signals. One weekends, when there is not much cross traffic from Henry or Kennedy, it is very tricky to cross Pine St, because the light will not change unless a car wants to cross Pine St.
