- Spartanburg Bike Ped Commission
- The Spartanburg, SC Bicycle and Pedestrian Commission was created in 2006 to increase safety and accessibility of bicycling and walking for both transportation and recreation. Over the last decade, Spartanburg has become a leader in the southeast for its active living initiatives. In 2007, Spartanburg became the first in the state of South Carolina to earn the national designation as a Bicycle Friendly Community.
